In early August, the British studio Ninja Theory (famous software Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, DMC: Devil May Cry) released her first independent blockbuster Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for PC and PlayStation 4, which the team prepared literally in the world in front.

Launching Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Players were most worried about how the audience would perceive the image of a mental disorder. Of course, the team worked hard, exploring this topic. However, you must admit that it is not so often in video games that you can meet a mentally ill priest, so the reaction of gamers was difficult to predict.
Fortunately, the British managed to show everything as it should, and success (both among critics and financial) did not force himself to wait long. For the first week after the release, 250 thousand copies were sold Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on PlayStation 4 and PC (while the forecasts of the studio itself did not exceed the marks of 150 thousand). Now developers confirmed that they sold more than 500 thousand copies, and this means that the game began to make a profit. In general, the revenue from Aquen sales amounted to 13 million US dollars (which is very good for a team of twenty people who spent three years).
From now on Ninja Theory I am even more sure that it is quite possible to create a successful game of the AAA class on its own. And three dozen video days of developers on the studio YouTube channel are designed to serve as confirmation. The last of them, by the way, can just be found below.
